On September 10, the International Advertising Association (IAA) Italy Chapter will be hosted by Google at the Lido for a panel curated by Francesca Mudanò (Vice President of IAA): “Among All the Stories: Cinema, Brands, and Technology Facing the Value of Creative Choice in an Era of Infinite Possibilities.”
For over a century, the primary constraint of storytelling was production. Turning an idea into a story required significant time, specialized skills, and financial resources. Today, that boundary is rapidly dissolving. Generative AI allows creators to produce images, video, scripts, and content at unprecedented speed and ease. When anything can be told, the fundamental question becomes: which story do we choose to tell? This discussion aims to reflect on how the craft of storytelling is evolving and the ongoing role of authors, brands, and platforms in shaping contemporary culture.
“After Sanremo, Venice. We want to be where things are happening. We aim to broaden the debate by involving key industry players to foster an open, forward-looking discussion about new technologies and their true potential.”
— Davide Boscacci, President of IAA Italy Chapter
